St. Lawrence, Folke "There is a trace of a Saxon door in the tower, but the first real reference is of 1292, when mention is made of the building being a chapel belonging to the Mother Church at Sherborne." Click here for Dorset Historic Churches page.

St. Laurence, Holwell A Grade 1 listed mid-fifteenth century building. It has a wagon roof to the nave whilst the north aisle has a finely decorated seventeenth century wooden ceiling. Following major restoration work St Lawrence reopened fully in Summer 2007. |
