SHERBORNE EPISCOPAL AREA RESOURCE GROUP (SARG)

It is our great pleasure to announce the launch of the Sherborne Episcopal Area Resource Group – SARG for short.

What is SARG?

The Sherborne Area Resource Group is a collection of teams of people who have offered their services to support and help parishes in mission and ministry. Each team brings together people with expertise, experience and enthusiasm in a particular area of church life, creating an extensive resource for the parishes. Our main aim is to identify, bring together, and share good practice. Each team has a coordinator responsible for developing the life of the team and making connections with parishes ensuring help is made available as soon as possible and for as long as necessary. So far there are teams covering the following areas: vocations, prayer and spirituality, stewardship, fund raising, wholeness and healing, children and young people, mission, nurture and discipleship, social action, music in worship, LPA ministry, rural life and ministry.
